What is CUNYfirst?

Not only to register for classes to find out the information about what your balances are. To make sure that you’re able to navigate the system in an effective way.
In addition, CUNYfirst will help you by giving you access to many important services. You can view your course history and access the transcript. So, you can actually begin to plot the rest of your academic career.
How to Login in CUNYfirst Account?
The login process is very simple. Just follow the simple steps below.
- Firstly, Go to the https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu
- If you are a CUNY member then your username will look like this format: “[email protected]”
- NN is your 2 digit CUNY identification number that is assigned to every student, staff member, and faculty.
- Most importantly, You have no access to choose your own account username.
- Lastly, enter your password and hit the “Log in” button.
As a result, you can get access to the following things after login.
- You can check the application status.
- Review admission decisions.
- Accept any admission offers.
- Register for classes.
- Pay bills
Account Activation Process
If you are not able to log in then you have to activate your account first. Follow the steps below to do it.
- Firstly, Go to the https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu
- Then click on “New User”.
- As a result, you can see the activation page.
- Now enter the below things:
- First of all, enter your Firstname and Lastname as per the application.
- Second thing is Date of Birth (D.O.B) in mm/dd/yyyy format.
- Enter last 4 digits of Social Security or CUNY-assigned ID Number.
- Lastly, click the checkbox “I’m not a robot”.
- Hit the “Continue” button.
- Next step will be the Email Confirmation. You have to enter your email and you will get confimation email in your inbox.
- In confirmation mail you can find the account activation link. Click on that link.
- Then you will be redirected to the Choose Account Password page.
- Enter the password and confirm password and click on Continue.
- Then it will ask for your personal information like Phone Number and Country Code.
- Next step will be security question page. You have to choose 5 questions and enter their answer for your account security.
- Lastly, one confimation mail will come with your EMPILID.
- Save the EMPILID for log in.
Above all is the process of account activation. After account creation, you can log in to the panel and select the “Student Center” from the menu. Then scroll down to view the Admissions section.
